Hi I have an Arlo Base Station with 2Arlo Cameras. Camera 1 works fine. Camera 2 does not Play Live and I get "Unable to play. Please try again". However, Camera 2 still detects motion and sends the e-Mail notification. I have Restart the Base Station, removed Camera 2 twice and Sync again. The Sync process took like 10-12 attemots until succeeded, but except an initial Live Play after each sync, does not play live anymore. Any ida what should I do? Should I reset the Base Station? I'm afraid by doing so not to also lose the Live Play on Camera 1. Thanks

If the camera and base are working properly, resetting won't lose anything other than all your settings and modes.  Since it takes several tries to sync the camera, I'd try a fresh set of batteries (or swap with the good camera) just to rule that out.  Failing that attempt, remove all devices in Settings, My Devices, reset the base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber, add it back in using the Add Device button on the Cameras tab and resync the cameras.  If that fails, you'll have to create a trouble ticket using the Support link at the top here for additional troubleshooting and possible RMA.

Or, if the system is within the return privilege from the store, return the system for a new one.

Hi Jguerdat - Thanks for your reply and assistance. The complete Reset of Base Station did not work. However, changing the Batteries from the working Camera to the one not being able to Sync, that "faulty" Camera works now normal, while the one functioning before has now the same problem not being able to Sync. I've raised a Ticket and asked the supplier if possible to send me 8 CR123. I've not used extensively the cameras since May 16th when received the produe to May 29th when one of the camera stopped working. Any idea what went wrong with the bateries of one camera? Is this a common problem? I travel a lot and I need the System operational for several months. Do you know if there is a rechargeable system/bateries for CR123? Thanks again for your valuable help.

Battery life is generally a function of the number of minutes used to record as well as live viewing and possibly poor WiFi connection. Spec usage is about 4 minutes total per day to get 4-6 months. Poor WiFi causes the camera to keep trying to maintain a connection. Total up your recording and live view minutes - are you well above that 4 minutes per day?
