Arlo Base Station won't boot up

Base Station won't boot up.  I unplugged it and let it sit for several minutes.  After the initial green flash, the power LED goes to amber and never changes to green.  

 

Background:  There was a power outage two days ago.  The base station didn't re-set itself.  After I discovered that it was offline, I cycled the power button.  It came back fine, captured one video from the camera, and at some point after that the power light turned to amber and won't go back to green.

Make sure you have ruled out the power strip, outlet, etc.. it is plugged into as possible culprits.

Do a full reset of the base....

hold in the reset for about 10 secs till the front leds flash amber

 

If after the reset, the POWER led ( first from left ) doesn't go green when powered after about 10 sec ( reboot time it is amber ) then the base may have suffered damge due to the power surge.
