It depends on your definition of instant recording. Since these are all cloud-based, there's a short lag (2-3 seconds) between detection and recording so camera positioning is important to improve that detection. If that's inadequate for any reason, the Pro series of cameras can be AC-powered which allows you to subscribe to CVR which records all the time. Even without the subscription, the powered cameras give you a 3 second lookback in the recording so you can see that time before the detection was triggered.
