App wants to send me 2FA code by email but app resets itself and code doesn't work

The app wants to send me a code by email. If I leave the app to get the email code, the app reset itself and now the code doesn’t work. Why did you make this worse? The product is unusable now

I suggest trusting any device you routinely use.

 

Also, push notifications likely will work out better.
