App is showing cameras as offline, but cameras still recording

Hello,
Just set up my Arlo yesterday and everything worked fine. This morning, the app showed the base as being offline, but the cameras were still working and uploading footage to the cloud. Three green lights appear on my base station and the cameras record, though I am not able to view live footage as the message i receive is that the cameras appears offline. Can someone advise what I can do to resolve? Disappointing to already have issues not even 24 hours in, so hoping for a quick resolution. Thank you.

You might have had a brief power outage at your house last night. You might need to reset your base unit and maybe reset the cameras. I also read that sometimes a firmware update can cause this but I have never had that happen to me.

You can google "Arlo cameras go offline" and see possible causes and solutions whil you are waiting for someone with a little more knowledge then me answers.

3 things to always try first:

 

1) Log out and back in.

 

2) Try both the app and a browser.

 

3) Power cycle the base.
