App can't find Base station vmb 3000. Is it still operable?

Trying to get my old base station to connect to the app I reinstalled.  App never finds it . Is the bmv3000 still operable? Or has it been retired?

Not retired ...

have you tried a hard reset (hold in the reset for about 10 seconds to the LEDs flash)
