After downloading Arlo Legacy, I have two Arlo apps and asking me to delete My Temephome?

I have had my Arlo system for years, never had a problem other than battery life which I fixed with new chargers. Now all of a sudden after downloading Arlo Legacy which it said I had or my service would stop working. Now I have two Arlo  icons, the normal Arlo in green and now Arlo Legacy which keeps telling asking me to delete My Temphome what ever that is?  No matter what I hit the same warning asking me if I want to delete Temphome. Now my system does not work! WTF! Solutions? Thoughts, am I stuck with 600 bucks of plastic? John

Try deleting both apps, and then restart the device.

After that, just install the new Arlo one (search for "Arlo Technologies" in the app store).
