Try email notification after the push notification times out.

You might also set up SMS (text), as that can be useful when you change phones (but keep the same phone number).

Well, I spoke too fast.  Yes, I did have several email messages with access codes earlier this month when I was trying.  But, I just tried and got no emails this time.  And, of course it timed out.  Thoughts?

OK, stepping back a bit.  I have now confirmed I can get in with my phone browser (that was when I tried "another verification method", hence the email verification codes.

But, I have my phone as trusted to.  So, I don't understand why messages are not coming to my phone via texts?  I see where you said I may have to set that up?

two-factor authentication starts with web push notification (not text).  Email verification is always available.  SMS can be added.

If you aren't seeing the web push, then again after opening the app on your phone.

Ok,   I am NOT getting a web based notification through my PC when trying to log in.  I have checked (Safari settings) "Notification Permissions" and there is NO ARLO requests identified.  Sorry...  Thoughts?

The web push goes to your phone (and apparently is not arriving).

FWIW, my last reply was just to distinguish web push from SMS.  You can add SMS to the authentication methods, and then use that on the PC.

Correct, it's not arriving on my phone.  Any idea why?  Have i configured something incorrectly or incomplete?

Just to make sure we are talking Apples to Apples... Stepping Back...

I need to use my PC to access my arlo console.  I enter my credentials on my PC but message back is

We don’t recognize this device

We sent notification to phone.

I never get a notification on my phone.  And, not sure what it means by don't recognize this device.

After that times you, you will see a link to try another verification method.  Have you tried that?
