Under default mode settings: the setting "On until after activity stops" the longest duration is 120 seconds. This option is very limiting and really inhibits the use of the floodlights. Especially since it's wired as opposed to a battery.

After the camera detects motion, there should without question be a setting that allows the lights to remain on regardless of motion still being detected for more than 120 seconds. 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes is what I would expect when purchasing a motion floodlight. Seems like a simple solution to add these additional times in app or enable HomeKit so you can automate the light yourself. I see no other workaround. In the mean time i'm very disappointed in this product and not going to hold my breath on any imminent app update.

It took me two separate, hour long chat sessions to learn that you can’t change the light duration after motion activation. I really question that the chat personnel really understand the product they are supporting. I have six Arlo cameras on my home, but plan to take the wired floodlight camera down and go back to the motion activated spotlight I had before. For my application, this product has been a huge disappointment, starting with the mounting strap that was not wide enough to span my standard outdoor electrical box. I wish I could return this thing for a refund.

I appreciate the feedback, but I don't believe any of the arguments made are enough to set such a limitation on the lights’ basic use. The ability for end users to customize home automation is a fundamental feature of these products. I'm holding out for now on the possibility that the light gets HomeKit support before the longer durations are added directly in the Arlo App. Hopefully, Arlo reconsiders and gives customers greater control, that way I’d feel more assured to add more of their products to my home.
