Can't add Wired floodlight camera

I installed wired floodlight camera but can't add it to the app. It keeps saying "Please upgrade to the new app before adding this device". I have the new app, I can go to settings and it says version: 5.5.4_28812, released 02/24/2025

 

I see some post that I should get an upgrade button but don't see it. The video for the installation is different from what I see in my app. My version only has three buttons on the bottom: devices, library and mode.

 

I also have existing devices, three Arlo pro and base station.

 

Thanks in advance. Please help resolve this issue as I already installed the camera and don't want to go up the ladder, uninstall and return it to store.

The apps support 2 user interfaces - the old one you have (Library to view recordings) and the new one that uses Feed. Choosing to install the wired floodlight should migrate your account for you. The first step is to migrate your account after which you proceed with the camera install. Be aware that custom modes, if any, don't migrate and the look and feel of the interface is significantly different. You should also check any schedules, geofencing and modes and rules to make sure they're what you want/need (you may need to recreate them).

How do I migrate my account?

Since you're trying to add the wired floodlight (right?) the first step after choosing to install it on the app is to migrate. Are you not seeing that? If not, post screenshots or a screen recording of the first few screens showing that you selected the right camera as well as what happens next.

 

You could also just try to install a Pro 5 even though you don't have one. The same thing should happen. 

 

Possibly rebooting the phone and reinstalling the app may help.
