front and back doorbells work normally. Connected power kit wires on my wired video doorbell front to front and trans to trans. per instructions. . Bell does not ring when pushed? What's up? Thanks, WD

The power kit instructions are front to trans and rear to trans. I don't know how you could have connected front-to-front, since there should only be one front wire running to the chime.  If you have multiple front wires at the chime, it is possible that it is incompatible.

Is the transformer within spec (16-24 VAC)?  Note that a single AVD1001 requires 10 VA.  Not sure if two require 20 VA, but likely they will require more than 10.

You can test for inadequate amperage by disconnecting one of the doorbells (at the chime is fine), and then see if that changes the behavior.
