motion sensors not working

The camera can see everything in the drive way and garden.  I can see videos of people in the drive way but no videos of people in the garden with motion sensors. I have put in zone for the full area but still does not work does not pick up anyone in garden with motion sensors. The motion sensors never pick up anyone in the garden why not ?

How far away are the people in the garden from the camera?

The garden is only a few feet away. It is just a small area. The camera can see all of the garden and zone screen  sees all of garden.

And this is the 2nd Gen doorbell?

Arlo spec's the motion detection range a 4m (13 feet).  Is the garden within that range?
