Will this (video doorbell) ever become battery operated?

This is exactly what I want, the quick responses but I need it not to be wired.

Not without dramatically increasing the size. I seriously doubt any doorbell camera will ever be reasonably sized and battery-operated.

There are a few out on the market already, they either haven't made it to the UK yet and currently just in the US or, they don't have the quick replies that I'm after.

The Ring doorbell is battery operated, with video and audio communation. It just doesn't have quick replies.

I'll look elsewhere for this, I believe theres one other company that have all this with battery power but are in the US. I'll just have to wait!
