Will my Arlo doorbell work without a subscription?

This is where arlo products get tricky- wish I knew this before I bought my 15 camera setup.

what’s your definition of ‘work’? yes,  it’ll function.

BUT,

without a subscription ypu can’t setup zones and watch ‘cloud’ recordings.

those basic features, if it’s a plan should be minimal subscription $, and it’s not…
