Why does my video setting change to night vision when I did not change it? When viewing live it would automatically change randomly. Toggle switch is off. Porch is always lit during dark hours.

Which "toggle switch"? Night vision? That simply enables or disables the IR LED used for low light B&W recordings and doesn't affect when the camera decides the light level is too low for color. A sample video link may be useful for troubleshooting. Increasing the ambient light level is likely the solution.

Thank you. I will try changing to a brighter light bulb on the porch. Hopefully video will stay in color mode.
