Video doorbell sensitivity setting

Can someone recommend a good setting starting point got video doorbell? My wife was trying to use this as another camera to see far out on our property and not just the front porch And pathway to the porch so we turned up sensitivity to 96. Now I’m thinking this is too much. I don’t need to pickup motion from the street in front of our house. Any suggestions appreciated.

I happen to use a setting of 40. YMMV.

For you, with 40, how close to the doorbell FYI they need to get? I have mine on 82. I want it to pickup when they are walking the path to My door where this camera can see.

I would say I get recordings about 20 feet from the doorbell. Just a rough guess.
