Hi, can the video doorbell be powered by a power supply and linked through a base to an Arlo chime if you don’t have an existing chime to integrate with?

That's what I do. Since I didn't have existing wiring available to the doorbell (recently covered over with new siding) so I used a transformer that plugs into the outdoor outlet nearby for doorbell power.
