Video doorbell connection

The doorbell is connected directly to the internet. The rest of the cameras are connected to a 3500 hub.
There seems to be a lag or slow in connecting to answer the bell or check video
Would using 5000 hub and connecting doorbell to 5000 speed things up?

Possibly but no guarantee. Try moving your router some to see if that helps (there may be a signal issue that moving the router may eliminate or reduce). In addition, house construction can be a problem - what's yours?
