Video Doorbell: how to hang up

When somebody rings the doorbell and I answer the door without my phone in my hand, the iPhone keeps ringing until I go back in the house to pick it up.  That means that I leave the person standing at the door, and it's a nuisance.  Is there a way to cancel the call from the doorbell?

Mine stops by itself after 20 or so seconds (never timed it). That's on Android.
