Name: brian Product Name: Essential Video Doorbell (AVD1001) Question: I am going to purchase the wired, 2K video doorbell and have a couple of questions: My existing doorbell is drilled into vinyl siding but the measurement top to bottom of the siding is just a hair under 4" and it is angled such that if you're viewing it from outside and the doorbell is to the right of you, the angle goes from NW to SE. (1) Will the included angled mounting plate compensate for this? If not, are there compatible 3rd party products that will? (2) Since the doorbell will be mounted to the right of the active door, is there an Arlo or 3rd party bracket that can rotate the bell horizontally to the left so that it is able to capture the person who is ringing the bell?

Note the doorbell is ~5.3" from bottom to top. So I think you will need a mounting plate.
The angled mounting bracket angles the doorbell from side to side (in either direction). No way to tell if the angle will be enough, but if it isn't there is one third party that sells 3d printed brackets at 35, 50, and 70 degrees. (I never used one, so this isn't a recommendation - just an FYI).
You could also try to angle the mounting plate.
