I am trying to understand how the activity zones work and the motion detection.
I have activity zones set, and my door bell armed, but any and all motion that comes into view of the camera send me a notification. Is this because it is armed?
If I disarm my doorbell will it notify me when something enters my activity zones? or not notify me at all?
I guess I don't understand how to properly use activity zones without getting notifications for any and all motion in the frame of my camera regardless if they are in the zones or outside.

Activity zones can be confounded by IR reflections. I use a zone that eliminates the street but also use a motion sensitivity setting of 25 which works well for me. Testing in your environment would be needed.
If disarmed, the doorbell press still works - it's the camera motion detection that will be disarmed.
