After screwing the bracket to the wall,  I can't get the doorbell to snap  on.  I've tried adjusting the  screws both in and out and even tried smaller screws.  It snaps easily on all off the bracket when it's not attached to the wall.

Clearly the bracket is being deformed by  my  installation.

Any ideas?

Thanks and best regards.

Another possibility is that the wires are taking too much space.

If it is the bracket being bent, then pretty much all you can do is loosen the screws.

I had problems getting mine to snap in place as well.  Thought it might be the wires but then I added the extensions and it ended up fitting.  I ended up finding part of my issue was the doorbell got turned around and the button was on the top not the bottom.  Secondly make sure to push up from the bottom then in.  All the sudden, it snapped in place.

Thanks for the responses.  A little more fussing and it snapped together.
