I got a new router so I had to reset up the camera with the new wifi network. I had issues getting it to scan a year ago when I bought it and I’ve been trying for over an hour. I give up and I’m going to buy a Ring tomorrow. This device was a complete waste of money.

FWIW, the simplest path (for all your devices) is to configure the new router to use the same WiFi name/passphrase as the old one.

Is the issue getting into the system setup sequence in the first place, or is it that the QR code isn't being read by the doorbell camera?

I agree this can be hard, it would be nice if there was a different process (for instance, having the doorbell create a hotspot and have the phone connect to that during setup).
