I appreciate that Arlo is improving and adding features, however I am not someone who needs or uses any of the extra, additional features (extra video history, person/vehicle recognition). I purchased this doorbell when the cost was only $2.99 per month. It is getting to the point where I am no longer interested in using the service due to the price. If there was a less expensive price point, I would consider not cancelling.

I just need to know when someone/something triggers my camera.
basic as can be- camera goes off when triggered, have video recording to warch/review.
no schedules/modes/ AI/ etc…

Apparently, you can remove the subscription altogether, but you lose the ability to view videos after the fact. I, personally, would just like the option to have some storage (2 weeks/ 30 days, etc), so I can view the video if I miss it in the moment. Agree with DGMI - basic as can be!!

Here is another vote for just a basic package. I have been a subscriber for a while and chose Arlo because I didn't need all the extra bells and whistles. I am quite confused about this "Upgrade Now" notification. Is this an option, or is this mandatory? With only a single doorbell, I really don't know if there are benefits for me to upgrade. I have been quite satisfied with just the basic operations of the doorbell, with the recordings.
