Pink Image / Removed Doorbell

My video doorbell was showing a pink image and reading some of these discussion boards it said the fix was to reset and remove the doorbell. So i removed the device from the app and then reset it but now i can't reconnect the doorbell to my app. has anyone experienced this and if so how did they get it to connect again?

After removing the device, did you also factory reset? If not, try factory resetting the doorbell before attempting to onboard again.

I had the same issue. I can't reconnect it to my system. It searches to find it and does not find it. I tried replacing it and the same thing happened. It was working fine, I saw the update said it now works with the arlo chime. I called arlo and they said it didn't and I told them to look up the arlo app on the app store. It says it now works with the chime.
Why won't it connect like before and how do we connect it to the chime?
I have reset it about ten or 15 times and nothing.

Did you also remove the Arlo Video Doorbell from Settings > My Devices > select your Doorbell > Remove
Once removed, perform a factory reset as instructed in the article linked above.
From there you should be able to add the doorbell back to your account as if it were new.
While the Arlo mobile app now includes support for syncing your doorbell to a Base Station or SmartHub (allowing Arlo Chime support), this integration is not quite ready. Firmware updates need to take place before you're able to use the mobile app to sync the doorbell with a Base Station or SmartHub. We expect that firmware to be available very soon, we'll keep the community updated.
