New Wired doorbell not sync

I purchased a new wired door bell. I have one that is already up and working. Decided to get another for our side entrance. I go through the whole set , get the doorbell to flash white and hit the app to start search and nothing . I hooked the old one up to the side entrance, works fine. I replaced transformer/doorbell chime. Still nothing , any help.
