How do you adjust the doorbell ring sound?

how do you change the doorbell ring sound, because now it makes the sound ‘ding dong’ but before it used to make a very loud ‘tringgggggg’

The doorbell itself doesn't have a ring sound.

 

Are you taking about 

  1. the sound the chime makes or
  2. the ring tone you get when the doorbell calls your phone?
