Currently have arlo pro cameras at house #1 (no subscription). I just purchased the arlo video wired doorbell for house #2.  Can I add the doorbell to my current arlo app? Plus it looks like with the doorbell that I will need a subscription.  Not sure if I can just add device to my current app. Also, if doorbell requires subscription, will I have to add the other cameras to subscription? Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes.

But if you prefer, you can use a different account for house #2.  You then use friend access to allow all cameras to be accessible from one account;

This approach makes sense if house #2 is a rental property.  It also ensures that nothing changes with your existing account.

Correct, you will need a subscription get cloud storage and some other features.

No.  A single camera subscription is enough for the doorbell.  You'll continue to get the 7-day cloud storage for the older cameras.
