3 days ago I began get alerts from my video doorbell every 30 second. I have made the activity zone as small as possible and have now disabled all 4 motion types. Still getting alerts. Received 3 while typing this.

Have now disarmed it in modes - thereby defeating the purpose of a video doorbell.

What changed? I have not changed the settings and this device has worked flawlessly for 6 months.

WHat time of day does this occur? If just daytime, it may be reflected IR from outside the zone from passing cars, etc. Reducing motion sensitivity usually helps - mine is set to 45%.

It was more active in daylight hours. It all started on 28th so why the change suddenly? It has worked well for 8 months prior. This really feels like a software patch gone wrong…or maybe the infrared just started on the 28th?

Don't forget that the sun, which has huge IR output, changes angle over time. WHat worked during the winter may not work well now. Many of us have multiple modes set up so during the most problematic time motion sensitivity is reduced to minimize false triggers. Us ehte schedule to automate switching between modes.
