My free trial just expired yesterday and the settings I had on my doorbell (modified activity zone) are no longer available. Now I am getting a push notification every single time a vehicle drives by my house and it is excessive. Does the doorbell revert to the default settings when the trial ends? It is super annoying getting all these notifications now.

It is likely that you were using smart notifications feature to filter out unwanted detection notifications.
Without subscription you would be getting all detected events.
Try reducing the detection sensitivity in the mode rules.

I tried lowering the sensitivity to 60 but was still getting a lot of notifications (I live in a new neighborhood with a lot of construction vehicles driving by). I'll try lowering it to 40 to see if it makes a difference. I think it's dumb that you have to have a subscription in order to change the detection zone. My Ring doorbell at my previous house let me adjust when I didn't pay for a subscription.

In case you’re not aware, changing the sensitivity setting in the camera settings will not affect the trigger event sensitivity, you need to adjust in the camera rules for the mode used.
The adjustment in camera settings is to know what value to use in the rules.

FWIW, my front doorbell motion sensitivity is set to 45 in my rules.
