I've had two wired doorbells since July 2020.  They've been working just fine ever since the initial installation.  We had an extended power outage the other day and I had to reset the base station (first time it hasn't just come back on when the power was restored, but okay).  My Arlo Ultra cameras were no problem to reinstall, but both of the doorbells refused to power back on at all.  After a lengthy chat with Arlo support (which resulted in no solutions), I found Jwad's post from February 2022, which recommended actually disconnecting the doorbells from power and then resetting.  I did that to both. (Wonder why Arlo didn't advise me to do that?)

Now they're both responding in the sense that they're lighting up.  One is basically on permanent pairing mode (flashing white) and the other will flash white for 5-6 seconds if I push the button and then go dark again.  Neither one is being found by the base station when I try to add a doorbell and scroll through the extensive installation instructions.

Arlo has offered me a 30% discount code since they're out of warranty.  I don't want to throw money down the drain if this is going to happen again after a power outage and since I figured out how to get them to "wake up", I'd like to just keep the ones I have, but don't know if they've actually been damaged somehow (unlikely).

Any and all suggestions are welcome.
