Doorbll Won't Connect

I've had my doorbell for over a year before it suddenly stopped working. I first thought that the batteries might have gone dead and replaced them, but the doorbell still didn't work. So then, I disconnected the doorbell from my account and tried to reinstall it, however this doesn't work because I can no longer connect the device to my account.
I have verified that my fireware is up to date and I am using the right type of WiFi and I have also tried connected it the account with my daughter's phone. Every time either of us attempt to connect the doorbell, it either refuses to scan the QR code or if the QR code is accepeted, a red light will appear on the doorbell and after several minutes I'll get a notification that I could connect the doorbell to my accout.
Please help me figure out how to get my doorbell connected again.
