I've had my Arlo Video Doorbell for about 1 month. I was receiving a lot of notifications throughout the day (which i was fine with). A few days ago I noticed I wasn't getting any notifications. I restarted by device and then started receiving notifications again. However, I changed my activity zones to only include my driveway and porch hoping to avoid alert fatigue. However, I've noticed my Arlo sometimes doesn't send notifications (or even records) activities happening within the zones. Sometimes it picks things up (like a person walking up to the door) but misses other things ( like our cars entering and leaving the driveway). It will even notify me of cars driving down the street that are not within my zone. Anyone else having similar issues? Any suggestions for a fix? The doorbell is updated with the latest firmware.

Thanks!

The_Ruski,

How far away is your driveway from the doorbell? The doorbell motion detection has an effective range of about meters, beyond that, detection may still occur but will be inconsistent.

Depending how you measure, it’s maybe 10-20 feet away. It’s also giving inconsistent alerts. Throughout the day I was lots of notifications. Around 8 PM I wasn’t getting hardly any, even in my activity zones. Doorbell showed motion detected but no alert sent.
