Hi,

I installed the Arlo doorbell (wired) and have gone through 4 transformers so far.  The transformer put out the correct AC voltage to begin with when it is unloaded by the doorbell.  Following the connection of the doorbell, the voltage is correct for a few minutes and then goes to 0.

I just replaced the doorbell wiring although I measured the old wiring and there was no short circuit.  Following replacement of the doorbell wiring and the installation of a new transformer, the transformer failed again.

My thinking is that the doorbell is malfunctioning and puts a large load on the transformer which damages it.

I agree, you should exchange it with the seller, or contact Arlo support and ask for an RMA.

Exchanging it with the seller is faster and easier.
