My wired Arlo doorbell started going offline about once every two weeks two months ago. Once it is offline, the only thing I can go is turn the power off to it for like 30 minutes and then turn it back on. That resets it and brings it back to life. Doing so requires turning off a breaker that shuts down a fairly significant portion of the house, so this is super inconvenient.

Anyone else having this problem? It worked just fine previously. My network hasn't changed at home and there's no reason for it not to be getting plenty of power.

Hello- just found this thread. Yes, this issue still persists. I have 3 wired doorbells on the same account, and 1 of the 3 is particularly problematic.  Will the beta app that is rolling out in phases fix this? Or @ moderator, do you suggest replacing the device?

Mine has been going out every couple of weeks as well and now it won’t find the QR code when I try and reconnect it. I tested the WiFi with the Arlo app and I have a very strong signal at the doorbell. And why are you giving people secret ways of fixing their issues but not everyone in this thread or people just reading the thread.

@Chewie2175

Can you PM me with the admin Email address so I can take a look at what might be occurring?

Thanks

I have the exact same issue. A couple of times a week AI can't see the doorbell in the app. Works fine when pressed though.

Mine does this all the time. Especially when the temperature goes below 45 degrees. I am currently having this issue and cannot get my doorbell to sync back onto my account.

Not sure if this helps but I was having a similar issue and it ended up being my doorbell transformer dying and not providing enough power to the wiring. My electrician was able to help me switch it out for a new one. The doorbell function would work but the video would go offline. Might be worth checking out.
