Likely not.  Do you have a wiring diagram or installation link that you can share?  That might help figure this out with more certainty.

I took a different approach. Now, the Arlo app one my wife's iPhone does not show the on and off toggle in Devices. How to solve that issue?

Is she using a "friend" account?  If so, did you give her access rights?  The full list of rights is here: https://kb.arlo.com/1103229/What-privileges-do-my-friends-have-when-I-grant-them-access-rights-in-my...

You can create modes that she can then select - that will give her the ability to arm/disarm cameras (though perhaps not as convenient as using the on/off toggle).
