Months ago, my father and I installed an Arlo wired doorbell. We followed the instructions step-by-step, and everything seemed just right. However, when we get to the step involving activating the doorbell, we get nothing. No circular white light, no response through the official app, just nothing.
We tried multiple times doing the manual reset as recommended by a lot of people online, but still no response. We've been busy a lot lately and haven't had any time to really dive into the issue. It wasn't until we had a recent power surge that something shook something loose with our situation.
Now, the doorbell flashes a small red LED light just above the Arlo logo, and one of the small mechanisms in the chime box is now jumping up and down every couple of seconds.
Here's video of the small mechanism moving.
Does anybody know what we can do to fix this issue and finally get our doorbell working?

That is the metal piston in the solenoid that rings the chime, and looks like it is the solenoid for the front door. If you have the wired doorbell (AVD1001), then I am wondering if you installed the powerkit. I'm not seeing it in your video. I am also seeing that you appear to have two doorbells connected to the Rear connection of the chime.
If the powerkit isn't installed, then the chime can misbehave (either buzzing or repeatedly chiming). If the powerkit s installed, then you might have a defective doorbell. If it is still under warranty, then you could ask Arlo support for an RMA (warranty replacement).
Have you tried resetting the doorbell?
