G410,
Arlo Video Doorbell counts toward the camera limit for subscription purposes. If you have an Arlo Smart subscription plan that supports up to 5 cameras, Arlo Video Doorbell would count toward one of those subscription slots.

Thank you but I don't have a subscription . I have a VMB4000 base station and 5 cameras that can record and store for 7 days I think ? Would I have to remove 1 camera to use the video doorbell?

G410,
Arlo Video Doorbell requires a subscription to save content to the cloud. There is no option for storing content for 7 days with Arlo Video Doorbell.
