Connected to 24V transformer (no Chime) not powering on

I've seen the same issue on the board with the same transformer (the user was connecting ground and 24v vs Ov and 24v), but I've done both when I connect the 0v and 24v to the doorbell it just switches off the transformer (light goes from green to off), called arlo support did not help, any suggestions should I get another transformer (this is my second one and second doorbell)

This is happening to me as well. I've fried two transformers this way.
