We moved into our new home and the previous owner left behind the wired 1st Gen doorbell (already installed) as well as a chime plug in. No directions on how to connect/use. I assume I need to connect to my wifi network but not sure how? I only see directions on installing. Any advice on how to get up and running? Thanks.

If you install the app on your phone, you can then "add device" and the work flow will guide you through the onboarding. It will include the physical installation steps, which of course you can skip over.
You might need to reset the doorbell - instructions for that are here:
BTW, this won't work if the previous owner left the doorbell and chime in their account.
