Arlo wired video doorbell - will previous subscription work with new doorbell?

Hello,

I got a new wired video doorbell after the one that I bought 8 months ago stopped working. I had purchased a subscription. Does my subscription automatically start working with my new camera or do I need to buy another subscription? And what happens to the original subscription? Refund? pro rate? what am I supposed to do?

The new doorbell should automatically opt you into the 3 month trial.  You can either

  1. cancel the old subscription, and then resubscribe when the trial ends
  2. cancel the trial and move the new camera into your paid subscription (via "manage cameras").

(1) is of course a bit cheaper.

 

But the subscription will stay in force until the end of the monthly cycle (they aren't pro-rating the refund).
