Hi has anyone got this combination to work? Arlo tech support are useless beyond recommending an electrician.
I have an existing Byron 776 mains doorbell which has to be an incredibly simple device that works fine.
I have the Arlo wired video doorbell (latest firmware) that if I connect to its own mains transformer work fine, but no bell.
If I connect it to the Byron chime on the same wires that the push button is on the byron starts buzzing, and the hammer is constantly against the chime. I have the power kit (set to O) connected on the same wires as the arlo
any help please

I believe it has an integrated 8-v transformer, which might be the problem.

Arlo Essential Video Doorbell requires 16-24V AC. Check your transformer to make sure the minimum requirements are being met: How do I measure the voltage of my doorbell transformer?
