Can anyone tell me why I get a green screen with a smaller viewing screen on my wired arlo doorbell? This only happens on the videos at night.

Is this when viewing recordings or when live viewing or both? A screenshot of your issue may be useful.

Hello, I believe it’s just on the recording but not 100% sure as I didn’t think to see if it did it on a live feed.

Let us know about the live view when possible.
The issue may be interference due to increased nighttime WiFi usage in your house or another one nearby. How is the doorbell connected - to WiFi or to a base or hub?

It is wired and we are connected through a base station.

It may be useful to check the transformer voltage at the doorbell with a voltmeter to be sure it's within spec (16-24 volts AC).
Try moving the base away from the router to see if that helps. ALso check for wireless devices that use the 2.4GHz band near the doorbell that could be in use, especially only at night.

What I see on your screenshot looks like packet loss.
Radio often propagates further at night, so this could be a result of wifi interference (perhaps from a neighbor's router).
A reasonable next step is to measure the wifi speed at the doorbell. Use the free Ookla speedtest app on your phone, and disable mobile data. If you can disable 5 ghz wifi in your router (and 6 ghz if you have it), then do that also. Best to do this test at night, since that is when you are seeing the problem.
