Arlo Wired Video Doorbell - Speaker/microphone making loud crackling noise.

Whenever I answer the doorbell to speak through the microphone there is a very loud and constant crackling noise emitted through the speaker. It is impossible to speak through the doorbell, the visitor cannot hear me and I cannot hear them over the noise. This has only recently started happening but happens every time I answer through the app.

Hi @CallumB May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

I'm having the exact same problem! It worked fine for about a month, then it started making a loud noise. It sounds like a looper and distorts heavily. The infrared light has also stopped working at the same time!

What steps did you think I should take? I've tried restarting it a couple of times by powering it off.

Use the app to go to Settings, Support and then choose your doorbell. Scroll down to Contacts to see what official support may offer including a possible RMA.
