Arlo Wired Doorbell will not turn on after reset

Unable to activate wired doorbell after reset. No on/off switch and doorbell remains inactive.

 

The wired Arlo doorbell stopped working spontaneously, so had to reset in order to try to get it to work. The activation process worked and Arlo acknowledged the setup except there is no way to turn it on. The Arlo app says Go into Device Setting and Turn on. No slider switch so how does one turn it on?????!!!!!

 

Right now I have a doorbell that can no longer be used. HELP!

You don't turn it on with an On/Off slider - you use your modes. What mode are you using? The Armed mode automatically gets any device added to it as the device is connected. Custom modes do not - you have to manually re-add the doorbell to those modes.
