I just got my Arlo Video Doorbell, and it has been great, from installation to the capabilites of the camera.
One thing I have noticed is that the small light sensor under the camera lens (not the LED button at the bottom of the camera), is constantly on with a red light. Is this normal? During daytime you can hardly see it, but at night is very bright.
Is there a way to turn off the red light?

That LED is the IR LED used for night vision. It sounds like the doorbell may be shaded sufficiently to turn it on (thinks it's getting dark outside) or possibly that it's always on since the doorbell is powered.
