Arlo Doorbell Wired/WIFI and Homekit

Hi,

Does Arlo Doorbell Wired works with HomeKit over WiFi and also from outside home? 
And i have an Apple TV running HomeKit.

 The AVD1001 needs to be connected to an Arlo base to use homekit.

Danm - but thanx Stephen! 
And the Arlo Pro 4 thats also can connect direct to WiFi, will it also needs a Hub if i want to use it with HomeKit?? 😕

Unfortunately, yes.

Note: To use Apple Home, your Arlo device must be connected to an Arlo SmartHub or Arlo Base Station. You can’t use Apple Home with your Arlo device if the device is connected directly to a Wi-Fi router.
