Hello,
I was just wondering what the general setup is for most people's doorbell. Reason I'm asking is that, at present, I'm not too sure how I should run this doorbell...
I am currently not receiving any push notifications for the doorbell. I even tested this by adding the doorbell to the package detection, and I received nothing. This includes cars, or movement in front of the doorbell. I will assume this is due to the fact that it must have a rule and be added to whatever "mode/modes" you run per the schedule set?
Adding it to a mode makes sense given the the other cameras outside the home were setup this way. I tried adding it to a mode, and it did start recording some video clips, but what I discovered is that by doing this, it interrupted the primary action of ringing the doorbell and capturing that video/audio interaction. Because the camera is already busy capturing movement by me walking up to the door (for the test), it doesn't engage properly with what the doorbell was built to do.
Do most people just not worry about the push notifications component and just have the device deal with activity at the doorbell itself? It doesn't appear as though you can do both and make it work smoothly.
Either that, or something is wrong with this thing...

I've added it back to a mode and am now getting the notifications again, however when I push doorbell and elect to accept the front door call, and even while I can see the video (many times with A LOT of latency), the doorbell call is only uploaded to the cloud as an "audio call" and I can't see any video....It's almost as if the device can't do both.
I'm pretty confident that's not how it's supposed to behave, so the only thing I'm left with is that I have some kind of bandwidth issue possibly? I've tried connecting the doorbell to multiple hubs (I have 2 different ones) as well as directly to my 2.4GHz network, and it's glitchy at best.
