Arlo AVD1001 Wired Video Doorbell Recent Hypersensitivity

The doorbell has been in use since 9/17/2021 with no issues.  About two weeks ago it became hypersensitive to all motion.  Even with the sensitivity reduced to 5% and Smart Notifications set to People only, it alerts to things like dogs walking across the street.  The dogs are about 70 feet away at that point.  I have done a restart and a factory reset with no change.  Anyone else having this issue recently or any ideas as to a fix?

Are you changing the sensitivity in your modes and rules, not the motion test?

Yes it is the correct slider.  Looking back it seems to have happened around the last app update on March 30th.  Don't know if that could make any difference or not, it just seems suspicious in the timing.

The app wouldn't make a difference but firmware could. It's possible the doorbell is faulty. Use Settings, Support, choose the doorbell to start communicating with official support to see what they have to offer.
