New doorbell installed and working flawlessly.  Add friend, she receives invite fine.  Responds to invite and creates new account.  Logs in and the ONLY option is to setup a new device.  This seems like a major user experience flaw as the expectation is that she would see the device she was invited too.

What am I missing?

BTW, attempting to get through the setup process again in the hope that the existing device will be recognized was also a pathetic fail.

A frustrating initial experience - I’m hoping its user error and not an app design faux pas.

    Resolved.

Contacted support and this turned out to be a known issue with the mobile app.

Resolution was to remove the Pending invite for my friend in the app.  Recreate the invite and send it to her.

Have her open it via email on her computer, NOT her phone.  She accepts it, creates, or in this case logs into her previously created Arlo account, and voila it works as expected and does not force you down the path of new device setup.

I hope this helps others that may encounter this (though I really hope the app invite acceptance process gets fixed in a coming release).

THIS was the answer.  Thank you for posting the easy fix to a frustrating problem.  It worked like a charm the first time.  Again, many thanks.
